Director NAMI Board of Directors
EmailAmy Brinkley, CAPRCII, is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors and a recovery support systems coordinator working in all states, territories and federal agencies. She is a member of NAMI West Central Indiana (WCI) and a Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II.
Following a five-year prison sentence, Amy attended a peer training meeting and became a lifelong NAMI member. With the team at NAMI WCI, Amy was able to develop the skills and resources needed to secure a role with the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) and has become nationally recognized for her recovery-focused and data-driven outcomes and focuses. Through her affiliation with NAMI, Amy works to strengthen state and local partnerships through strategic planning.
She has previously worked for the State of Indiana, Division of Mental Health and Addictions, and has worked with NAMI as a member, director, and state contract holder. She has been recognized for taking an operating budget of $1.5 million to just over $10 million in mental health and addiction recovery support services.
Amy also serves on the Indiana Housing Community Development Authority Board of Directors, SURF Center Board of Directors and is the Executive Director for Paul Plan Ministries Inc.
