We Are Moving the 2015 NAMIWalks to a New Location! 


We have exciting changes for the 2015 NAMIWalks. 

We are in a new location for the first time in 10 years. 


We will be at beautiful Cranes Roost Park
behind the Altamonte Mall,

The Seminole County Consumer Connection Support Group meets at The Hacienda, an apartment complex at 225 South Wayman Street, Longwood 32750 (map)

Class Starting Soon

NAMI Basics is an educational program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illnesses. It covers the fundamentals of caring for yourself, for your family and for your child. 

What You Should Expect

  • Meets for six sessions, 2.5 hours each, free of cost.
  • Designed for parents and other family caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illness. 
  • Taught by a team of trained teachers who are family caregivers of individuals who developed symptoms of mental illness as children.
  • Provides critical information and strategies related to caregiving. 
  • Incorporates presentations, discussion and interactive exercises.

New Ways to Support NAMI Greater Orlando




Many of us donate to our favorite charities through United Way campaigns through our workplaces.  The United Way campaign for this fall is about to get underway.  You can designate your donation to go directly to NAMI Greater Orlando by writing in our name and our Tax ID number which is: 59 2600149.

Volunteer with NAMI Greater Orlando!

How would YOU like to volunteer?  NAMIWalks, health fairs, fundraising, office help, special events, mailings, teaching classes, facilitating groups, and more.

We are particularly looking for people who are available on a regular basis, perhaps one day a week for a few hours at a time to manage a particular aspect of volunteering such as answering phones, helping to manage health fair scheduling and contacts, researching mental health resources, updating and maintaining our library, entering and managing data, and sharing your computer expertise in managing social websites.
