NAMI Rochester

NAMI Rochester is dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy to individuals and families of all ethnic backgrounds affected by mental illness in Monroe and the surrounding counties.


Our Mission:

NAMI Rochester’s mission is to provide support, education and advocacy to individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds who are living with mental illness. NAMI Rochester is dedicated to educating the public about mental illness, offering resources to those in need and insisting that mental illness become a high national priority.

NAMI Meetings:

All NAMI meetings are free of charge and we welcome you to attend.

Membership:

We invite you to become a member of NAMI Rochester. The annual cost of membership is $36.00. Membership entitles you to receive the local, state, and national newsletters as well as other publications. Members have voting privileges and receive discounts on literature and merchandise. $10.00 of the annual membership fee is sent to the national NAMI organization, and $3.00 is sent to the New York State NAMI. Scholarships are available for persons with limited income.

NAMI Rochester is a United Way Donor Designator Agency #1501 and is a participating agency of the Greater Rochester State Employees Federated Appeal #66-0944.
