Welcome to the website of NAMIGlendale, the National Alliance on Mental Illness affiliate for the greater Glendale area.

We are glad you have found us. If you or your loved one suffers from a major mental illness, we can help.

  • Mental Illness can affect persons of any age, race, religion or socioeconomic status.
  • One in four adults experiences a mental health disorder in a given year.
  • One in 17 adults or 5% lives with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, major depression or bi-polar disorder.
  • Mental illness is a medical condition that disrupts a person's thinking, feeling, mood, ability to relate to others and daily functioning.
  • The good news is that recovery is possible!  

NAMI Glendale offers an array of peer led support, education, and advocacy programs to help individuals living with mental illness, their families, and loved ones. Use the menu to the left to go to our "What’s New" pages to find out about current classes and speaker programs. Click on the links below to find out about support group meeting times and places.

NAMI Family Support Group offers support for family members and loved ones of those living with a mental illness. We offer these groups in English, Spanish, and Armenian.

NAMI Connections Recovery Support Group offers peer support recovered and recovering consumers.
