Partnerships and Resources
In August 2012, NAMI's Education, Training, and Peer Support Center launched the collaboration between NAMI and Army OneSource (AOS) to bring Treating the Invisible Wounds of War, a no-cost five course online training program, to NAMI State Organizations and NAMI Affiliate leaders to help build awareness of the culture in which the Military, Veterans and their families live and work.

Coaching Into Care - VA Partnership
Coaching Into Care is a new national VA telephone-based service that provides consultation services for family members who would like to help a Veteran seek mental health care in a VA treatment facility or Vet Center.
The Real Warriors Campaign is a multimedia public awareness campaign designed to encourage help-seeking behavior among service members, veterans and military families coping with invisible wounds. Launched by the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) in 2009, the campaign is an integral part of the Defense Department's overall effort to encourage warriors and families to seek appropriate care and support for psychological health concerns.
AMVETS (or American Veterans) has a proud history of assisting veterans and sponsoring numerous programs that serve our country and its citizens. AMVETS is one of the nation's foremost veterans service organizations (VSOs). It stands as a strong and influential advocate for America's veterans on important issues such as employment and training, mandatory funding for government-provided health care and other benefits to which they are entitled.
