Native American Wellness Traditions

Wellness may be a new focus for the mental health field, but a holistic idea of health as well as practices that support wellness have been passed along for centuries within Native American traditions.

Maria Trevizo of the Native Wellness Institute has shared some Native American approaches to wellness, including a Medicine Wheel, a Healing Matrix and an "I am More" Flower Graph.
