One out of four Americans is affected by mental illness at some point during their lifetimes and mental illness does not discriminate between Democrats or Republicans.

During the primaries, Senator Obama answered 24 specific questions on a NAMI mental health questionnaire. Senator McCain provided a statement in lieu of specific answers.
