Every journey begins with that first step!
2,992 people from all over the State of Michigan came together on September 24, 2009 to celebrate recovery, raise awareness about mental illness and treatment, and advocate for changes in our mental health system and fight against pending budget cuts. NAMI Michigan and our affiliates count on the generosity of people like you to raise the money needed to continue important support groups, advocacy, education and research. Please give what you can - if everyone gives what they can we will surpass our goals!
In 2010, thousands of concerned citizens in 74 communities across the nation will join NAMI's Campaign for the Mind of America and walk together to raise money and awareness about our need for a world-class treatment and recovery system for people with mental illness.
Join people from around Michigan to celebrate recovery and fight the stigma related to mental illness by participating in or donating to Michigan's NAMIWalk.
