Welcome to Dallas NAMIWalks 2012!
Dallas NAMIWalks is a 5K Walk event designed to increase NAMI’s visibility in our community in order to raise awareness about mental illness, and raise funds to support NAMI programs across North Texas.
Every year, the Walk helps people understand the impact that mental illness has on their communities; the prevalence and indiscriminate nature of these illnesses; the fact that recovery is possible if treatment is available; and about the hope that NAMI provides. As we grow and add to the number of people that know about NAMI and understand the important role NAMI plays in their lives, we also reduce the number people that have misconceptions about mental illness and those that are affected by it.
It’s time to think about how you plan on participating in the 8th Annual 2012 Dallas NAMIWalk on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Please consider the following ways you can help us make this the best year ever:
Sponsorship Opportunities! Sponsors are entitled to varying benefits based on their level of participation. Designation as an official sponsor of the Dallas NAMIWalk entitles you to recognition in all marketing and public relations materials. Special sponsorship recognition is also available for major donors of goods and services, depending on the cash value of the donation.
Business Support! Here are some ways that your business can support the Dallas NAMIWalk:
