Barring any unexpected world crisis, NAMI national board member Moe Armstrong and Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, author of Surviving Schizophrenia, are scheduled to be interviewed on ABC's NIGHTLINE on Friday, March 22nd at 11:30 PM (check local listings) about the movie A Beautiful Mind. Like John Nash, Jr., on whose life the movie is based, Moe has schizophrenia. Two years ago,NIGHTLINE profiled him in a special feature entitled "Mighty Moe."
The program will also profile NAMI member Diane White from Chicago.
On Sunday night, March 24th, Academy Award winners also will be announced. A Beautiful Mind is a contender for top honors.
