Jeff Fladen

Jeff Fladen, MSW, was elected to the NAMI Board of Directors in 2021 and is NAMI’s current Treasurer and his served on various board committees and task forces. He is also a current board member of the Behavioral Health Foundation. He is formerly the Executive Director at NAMI Tennessee in Nashville and was previously a member-at-large for NAMI Davidson.

In addition to being a family caregiver and receiving mental health treatment, Jeff worked as a therapist and behavioral health. Jeff came NAMI in 2013 with a personal mission to promote growth, influence, and visibility of NAMI throughout all levels of the alliance. He is also interested in outreach to the Jewish community where he worked as an agency director.

Jeff is active with Crisis Intervention Team and Co-Response expansion as well as numerous mental health task forces and committees in his home state of Tennessee. He has presented at numerous mental health-related conferences, webinars and other broadcasts.

He was awarded the Vicki Cottrell Leadership Award by his fellow NAMI Executive Directors at the 2018 NAMI National Convention.  Jeff earned his MSW at the Ohio State University.
