Imaan Siddiqi

Imaan Siddiqi (she/her/hers) is a Pakistani American in her fourth year at East Carolina University. She is the recipient of a full scholarship as part of the Brinkley-Lane Scholars Program. Imaan is a Public Health major on the pre-medical track, double minoring in Psychology and Biology. She is a part of the Apparel and Interior Merchandising Organization, martial arts club, is a certified EMT, and works as a registered behavior technician for kids with autism.

Imaan began working with NAMI as a high school intern, and then as a youth ambassador for NAMI Wake County, N.C. In 2022, she was a member of the NAMI Next Gen advisory group. As a Next Gen Ex-Officio Board member, she hopes to have a hand in creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive approach to mental wellness in underrepresented populations.
