Improving the lives of those affected by mental illness is a mission that takes an incredible amount of passion and commitment. It’s not something a person does for recognition—it’s done because people care about NAMI’s cause and are willing to dedicate their time, energy and resources to make a difference.
While most advocates don’t expect recognition for their efforts, NAMI thinks it’s important to recognize the outstanding contributions of our members and organizations. So, each year, as part of our convention, we give out a handful of awards to celebrate the accomplishments of our community. But we need your help identifying the standout individuals and organizations who dedicate their time to our cause!
Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for all their hard work?
Nominate them for an award
(through Feb. 16th)
Past nominees and award recipients have told us that receiving an award (or just being nominated!) was a very meaningful validation of their work. This year, we will keep the tradition going at the 2018 NAMI National Convention in New Orleans.
We appreciate your help in recognizing the hard-working advocates in our community.
