The Board of Directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has elected Marilyn Ricci of Connecticut as president of the national organization's board of directors.
Ricci is a consulting dietitian and president of Cornucopia Food Service in Collinsville, Conn. She previously served as president of NAMI Connecticut and was elected to the national board in 2011.
NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Election of board officers for 2015-2016 occurred at NAMI's recent national convention in San Francisco, July 6-9, following election of new board members by the organization's membership. Board members are elected for three-year terms and may serve two consecutive terms.
