Advisor NAMI Next Gen
Meredith Raasio (she/her) is an undergraduate student at Michigan Technological University majoring in Supply Chain and Operations management while also pursuing a double minor in Psychology and Law and Society. Meredith spends her time as a Senior Peer Health Ambassador on her campus, Green Bandana Project Advocate, and a teaching assistant for a health and well-being class. She is passionate
about supporting and hearing from those whose mental well-being has been impacted by religious trauma, poverty, or complex family dynamics. Meredith aims to promote a holistic approach to well-being and mental health care while prioritizing intentional conversations about mental health to continue the destigmatization of receiving care. As a NAMI Next Gen member, she hopes to affirm individuals who struggle with mental health to let them know that they are not alone and that their life holds tremendous meaning and potential.
