Today the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) announced it will be a part of MTV Entertainment Group’s and the Biden-Harris Administration’s Mental Health Youth Action Forum. MTV Entertainment Group is working to engage young people from across the U.S. to employ their creative expertise and direct knowledge of their peers to help drive their communities to take mental health actions.

Younger adults (18–34) experience greater concerns about the judgment and stigma they may experience from seeking out treatment. Our survey found that Hispanic and Asian American individuals are facing more significant struggles, including a lack of cultural competency among health care professionals.
