Judge Joyce A. Campbell, J.D.
Joyce Campbell is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors and is a Municipal Court Judge with the City of Fairfield, Ohio. Joyce is a member of NAMI Butler County and has served on both the NAMI Butler County and NAMI Ohio Boards of Directors.
As a leader in assisting courts in developing funding and operating specialized dockets for those living with mental illness Joyce hopes to encourage the implementation of a specialized docket for individuals with a severe mental illness charged with a crime in every jurisdiction throughout the country.
Joyce is a member of several professional associations, including American Bar Association, National Association of Women Judges, as well as the Bar Associations for the State of Ohio, Butler County and Cincinnati. She is also a member of the Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Specialized Dockets and Ohio Jail Advisory Board.
Joyce earned a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Case Western Reserve University and a J.D. from CWRU School of Law. She has several bar admissions to her credit, including State of Ohio, US District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, United States Supreme Court and State of Kentucky.
During the 2018-2019 Board term, Joyce will serve on the Governance, Planning and Policy Committees and will chair the Dispute Resolution Workgroup.
