NAMI is proud to partner with the leaders of 15 trailblazing mental health and wellbeing-focused organizations to chart a new course for mental health in the U.S.
This coalition, spearheaded by NAMI CEO Daniel H. Gillison, Jr. in 2020, represents some of the most vulnerable and diverse populations affected by disparities in the mental health care system. The leadership collective has collaborated to identify and amplify their priorities for creating a future of quality mental health care for all who need it.
Accordingly, they have pledged to focus their efforts on early intervention, accessible care and effective paths to recovery. As outlined in the Unified Vision Statement, the group is committed to working with state and local governments to improve mental health care infrastructure, provide more resources and break down barriers to care.
