Catherine Roach

Catherine Lee Roach, M.S.

NAMI Board of Directors

Catherine “Carrie” Roach, M.S., has been a member of the NAMI Board of Directors since 2016 and is a member of the NAMI Ramsey County, MN Board where she has been an enthusiastic advocate for mental illness education by speaking about recovery across the country and within the state spotlighting NAMI’s In Our Own Voice presentation program. Carrie has served on the NAMI Minnesota Board of Directors and its Executive Committee, represented Minnesota peers to the NAMI Peer Leadership Council and served on the Executive Committee and as Chair of that body.

Carrie found NAMI through her mother who’d found her own help at the organization. Carrie knew that alleviation of symptoms wasn’t enough, nor was peer support; she wanted policy changes to take place for herself and her peers along with those who support them.

With a background in statistics, she has worked for Fortune 500 companies providing quantitative business operations analyses, taught at secondary and post-secondary schools, and now has her own corporation that supports others with business analysis.

She earned her M.S. in Statistics at the University of Minnesota.

For the 2021–2022 Board term, she serves on the Board Policy & Governance Committee as Chair and as the Parliamentarian.
