NAMI offers an SMS messaging service. You may choose to opt-in to our services by texting “advocate” to 1 (855) 469-6629. You may opt-out at any time. We send links to our advocacy registration form and links to our grassroots advocacy campaigns to potential and current advocates who text a given code to a specified number.

Wireless carrier terms, conditions, message and data rates apply for messaging. Message frequency varies per user. You will only receive a message as a response to texting-in, you will not receive outbound messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider. To cancel your service, text “STOP” to 1 (855) 469-6629. We will respond with a single SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

Participating carriers include AT&T Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
