Darien Wright

With over 25 years of broad experience across global Fortune 500 companies, private equity, management consulting, and Big 4 public accounting, Darien is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at the National Geographic Society. Previously, he spent over 15 years in hospitality in roles with Brookfield Asset Management and Marriott International. Darien also served as a trustee for two independent nonprofit schools, and has joined the NAMI Board to support efforts around mental health services for young adults and build additional partnerships to further its mission.

Darien earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University, and is also a certified public accountant.
