First Vice President NAMI Board of Directors
EmailJoseph Gatto is First Vice President of the NAMI Board of Directors and has served as the Board 2nd Vice President, as well as the President of NAMI Connecticut.
During his eight years of service to NAMI, Joe has worked to strengthen communications, finances, governance and develop best practices across the NAMI organization to better advance NAMI’s mission and strategic plans. During the 2023-2024 Board year, Joe served on the Finance and Audit Committee and Strategic Development workgroup.
He was also a 2018 Advanced Leadership Fellow at Harvard University where he focused on supporting the mental health of young people. During his fellowship, he studied behavioral neuroscience, psychopharmacology, and mood disorders.
In addition to his work with NAMI, Joe is the Managing Partner of Orient Point Partners, LLC, a strategy and financial advisory firm. He is also Board Chairman of the Planetary Health Alliance at Harvard University, a Director of ecoAmerica, and an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
