Join NAMI Town Hall and our panelists in discussing the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in City of Grants Pass v. Johnson. When the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) issued its decision in June, it upheld a city ordinance that allows communities to criminalize homelessness.

This decision has already had a nationwide impact on local communities – and it will have lasting implications for people with mental illness, already overrepresented in our criminal justice system. About 1 in 5 people experiencing homelessness have a serious mental health condition, meaning they will be disproportionately impacted by this ruling.
