NAMI HelpLine

Do you have a caring heart? Do you have a passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference? Volunteers on the NAMI HelpLine become a vital part of a person’s mental health journey.

The NAMI HelpLine is powered by people who know what it’s like to need help with mental health challenges – whether as an individual, a friend, or family caregiver.

Volunteers and interns serving on the NAMI HelpLine are well-trained, equipped with tools, and supported by NAMI HelpLine Staff. Through your training and service, you will develop a deeper understanding of mental health conditions, recovery strategies, and ways to navigate life challenges.

Serving from home and using your computer, you will answer calls, texts, and chats from people reaching out for help and you will provide them with mental health information, resources, and emotional support.

Help people impacted by mental illness move from hopeless to hopeful. Apply to be a NAMI HelpLine Specialist today!
