NAMICon 2022 Shifting to Virtual Event

2/1/2022

While NAMI remained hopeful to be able to come together in person for NAMICon 2022 in Atlanta, we have decided to move forward with our convention as a fully virtual event. We do not take this decision lightly, but the safety and well-being of our community is our top priority. Mental health is physical health — and our decision is driven by our commitment to prioritizing both, especially given the unique vulnerabilities of those with mental illness regarding COVID-19.

A bright spot to holding NAMICon virtually once again is that an online event provides us with an incredible opportunity to bring mental health awareness and solutions to a wider audience across the nation and the globe.

NAMI’s convention team and staff are working on finalizing the workshop, plenary and special event details of our virtual event and will share more information on nami.org/convention when NAMICon registration opens Tuesday, Feb. 15. Please plan on joining us in June!
