March 2 is a day to celebrate the birth of the man who above all loved children—Dr.  Seuss.

Dr. Seuss taught millions that they have the power to change the world. In honor of Dr. Seuss, join NAMI to change the world for children who live with mental health conditions.

50% of mental health conditions begin by age 14 and the quicker children get the services and supports they need, the better they do. Comprehensive mental health reform legislation helps by:

• Supporting grants to promote evidence-based practices for children, youth and young adults
• Supporting grants for early childhood intervention and treatment
• Increasing children’s community mental health services
• Increasing the availability of child and adolescent mental health professionals

Now is the time to address the need for children’s mental health in our country. Congress needs to hear that you want mental health reform to become a reality.
